Jason De Vos has challenged his Ipswich team-mates to seal a play-off place in the Championship as "this chance may not come around again".Jim Magilton's side turned in a woeful performance at Layer Road on Saturday to be soundly beaten by Colchester - but with home games against Cardiff and fierce rivals Norwich this week De Vos knows that six points are a necessity.

He told the Evening Star: "This chance may not come round again.

"We must all realise this on Wednesday, some of the younger players have not been in the game long enough perhaps to appreciate it.

"I am desperate for promotion, and with the bulk of my career behind me it means so much to me.

"We have got to grab the fantastic opportunity that is in front of us. We have to bounce back."
