Duo keen to remain at Cottage

Mon 07 Apr, 06:00 PM

Kasey Keller and David Healy have given Fulham a boost by declaring they are ready to commit their futures to the relegation-haunted club.A 3-1 defeat by Sunderland on Saturday left them facing an uphill battle to avoid the drop into the Championship.

The Cottagers are now six points adrift of safety and defeat by Reading this weekend will virtually end their survival hopes.

But despite the very real threat of relegation from the top flight, Keller declared: "I've let the club know that I would definitely be willing to sit down and talk about next year."

Keller's comments were echoed by Healy, who came off the bench to score against the Black Cats.

He said: "I want to be part of this, whatever the future is, I'm as committed as anybody here."
