Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson admits it would be "perfect" to seal promotion at London Road when they host Stockport this weekend.A win over the Hatters at home next Saturday would secure a return to League One after three years in the basement division and Ferguson is still hopeful of pipping the MK Dons to the title.

He said: "To be within one win of promotion with four games to go is a great situation for us and the opportunity to clinch it in front of our own fans is a great motivation.

"We are expecting a crowd between nine or 10,000 so it should be another great occasion. I don't care when we go up as long as we do, but it would be perfect to achieve it on Saturday in front of our fans.

"We are still in there fighting for the title.

"Everyone has tough games to play. If we win our four remaining games we will have a chance of the title as Dons may well drop points."
