Tranmere winger Steve Davies is poised to make his long-awaited comeback from injury in Wednesday's reserve-team clash against Carlisle.Davies, 20, has missed the last six months after sustaining a serious knee injury against Northampton on September 29.
However, boss Ronnie Moore said: "It could be a big comeback game for him.
"He has made great progress and he is at a stage where we think he has to be playing.
"We're hopeful he will play a big part in the game on Wednesday."
