Moore return makes Albion merrier

Mon 07 Apr, 04:00 PM

On-loan striker Luke Moore is available again as West Brom return to Championship action against Blackpool on Tuesday evening. The on-loan Aston Villa striker completed a three-match suspension as Albion drew 0-0 at Cardiff last week, but was ineligible for the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Portsmouth on Saturday having already featured in the competition for his parent club.

Baggies boss Tony Mowbray suffered no new injury or suspension problems at Wembley, so Portuguese playmaker Filipe Teixeira remains the only definite absentee. The midfielder's season ended in March when he suffered knee ligament damage during the 3-0 defeat of Plymouth at The Hawthorns.

Mowbray insists there will be no FA Cup hangover at Bloomfield Road and his side are fully focused on resuming their quest for promotion to the Premier League.

"If you can't rebound from disappointment then you shouldn't be in football because no-one wins every match. There is always another game and you have to be ready for it," said Mowbray.

"The players are determined to get results. We are in a great position to get out of this league with six matches remaining, and the players are ready to try and grab that chance."
