Lincoln defender Adie Moses admits his lengthy absence from the first-team has been "soul-destroying" but is keen to prove his worth again. The 32-year-old returned to the starting line-up in the 2-1 defeat to MK Dons on Friday after being absent from the Imps starting XI since New Year's Day.
However, now he is back, the veteran is aiming to keep his place in the side.
"Having been sat on the sidelines for so long, it was just nice to be back again because I thought I would never play again this season," Moses told the Lincolnshire Echo.
"Not being involved has been very frustrating, but I've not moped about the place. I've worked hard in training and done my best to try and force my way back in.
"But when you are out of the team and, in my case, not even being involved in the 16, it is soul-destorying at times. I just hope now I can play a few more games until the end of the season."
