La Liga side Valencia are keen on signing Bayern Munich's France international full-back Willy Sagnol when the transfer window reopens. The defender has been restricted to just nine first-team appearances this season.
Valencia saw an offer for the full-back knocked back last summer, but are confident of getting their man this time around as Sagnol has made it clear that he is far from happy at the Allianz Arena.
Despite being under contract with Bayern until 2010, it is understood that an offer of around two million euros (£1.5million) would be enough to tempt the Germans into a sale.
Ronald Koeman is yet to make an official approach for the player, but Valencia officials are believed to have been in contact with Sagnol's agent in an attempt to establish whether the defender would be interested in a move to the Mestalla.
