Defender Simon Spender will miss Wrexham's trip to MK Dons but midfielder Jeff Whitley is expected to return to boss Brian Little's squad.Spender sustained an ankle injury in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Macclesfield although the severity of the problem has yet to be disclosed.

Whitley, meanwhile, has overcome the shoulder problem sustained last week and may be handed an immediate recall.

Midfielder Danny Sonner (Achilles) and striker Rob Duffy (foot) remain ruled out for the rock-bottom Dragons while Mike Williams and Gareth Evans have been added to the travelling party.

The games are running out for Little's side in the battle to avoid relegation but they could secure the double over the Dons following the 1-0 win at the Racecourse Ground back in January.
