Crewe defender Danny Woodards is a major doubt for Saturday's encounter with Yeovil after he picked up an ankle injury against Southend.Woodards was stretchered off in Saturday's 3-1 defeat and is unlikely to be fit to face Town as the Railwaymen's relegation battle reaches its decisive stage.

However, there is better news on Julien Baudet, who was also forced off the field on Saturday.

It is hoped Baudet will be back in training by midweek and he should be in contention for the weekend.

The game could also see long-term absentee Billy Jones, who has been out with a knee injury, make a return to action.
