Reading manager Steve Coppell has revealed that Glen Little is rated at 50/50 to play in the crucial away clash at Derby. The winger missed Saturday's home game against Tottenham with a calf problem but is hoping to be fit.
Little has struggled for a year with a troublesome Achilles problem before sustaining his calf injury and Coppell told the club's official website: "He's probably got a 50/50 chance of being available.
"What a lot to ask of someone who's played 30 minutes in over a year. It's been a cruel blow to have lost him for more than 12 months.
"It's been a blow, especially when you've been expecting him to come back and he's not been able to fully do it yet.
"It could be that this is the most telling input he could have. He might not be fit to start, he might be fit to play a part."
