Cheltenham boss Keith Downing has offered new deals to six out-of-contract players as he begins the work of shaping his squad for next season.Offers have been put on the table to Jerry Gill, Alan Wright, Scott P Brown, Ashley Vincent, Gavin Caines and Craig Armstrong and the players have until the end of June to decide whether to accept.
However, Michael Wylde, Sam Foley, Adam Connolly and Craig Reid will all have to find new clubs after they were told they their contracts at Whaddon Road would not be renewed.
Downing told the club's official website: "All the players who have received offers have gone away to think about them. They have the right to mull them over and I don't know if there will be quick decisions.
"Obviously we have had to say goodbye to a few people and that is always a difficult time for everyone. I have spoken personally to all the players who will be leaving us but I would also like to thank them publicly for their commitment to Cheltenham Town and to wish them well for the future."
Defender Andy Gallinagh has already committed to the Robins for the next two seasons after putting pen to paper on a new deal.
