Wed 07 May, 05:00 PM

Rotherham manager Mark Robins hopes that prospective new owner Tony Stewart can arrange an agreement for the club to remain at Millmoor.Stewart, who hopes to assume control of the club by Friday, is locked in talks with the owners of the stadium, the Booth family, about the lease.

The Millers have also been in discussions with the council about the possibility of relocating to a new stadium.

Robins told the Star: "I would prefer us to be playing at Millmoor but if we were forced to take it away from here, then so be it.

"I just hope that the majority of our support will come with us if it happens. I hope that if there was to be such news then it would coincide with plans for the new stadium coming out which would be something for everyone to look forward to."
