Robins reveal friendly clash

Bristol City have confirmed that their first pre-season friendly ahead of the 2008/09 campaign will be against Cheltenham Town.Gary Johnson's side will travel to Whaddon Road to face the League One club on July 29.

City have built a close partnership with Cheltenham this season, loaning Steve Brooker, Richard Keogh, Jennison Myrie-Williams and Alex Russell to the Gloucestershire side.

Other current Cheltenham players who are formerly of City include the two Scott Brown's, Steven Gillespie and Damian Spencer.
