Derbyshire claim they have been unfairly treated after the club were again denied a fixture against Australia.
The county have written to the England and Wales Cricket Board, complaining at the decision not to award them a game with the tourists in 2009.
Derbyshire are angry they will not have had a fixture against the Australians since 1997 when every other county will have been given at least two games against them during that period.
Derbyshire's chief executive Tom Sears said: "We see very little justification for us not receiving a fixture against the Australians next year.
"The Australians are a massive draw and four days against them would easily be worth six figures. It's very disappointing.
"We were told that we received first choice on touring fixtures last year and have been given one of our higher choices this summer but you can't look at it on that basis.
"You have to look at it as a game against the Australians and this is the third tour we have missed out on a game against them."
