Huddersfield Town midfielder Danny Schofield is set to sign for League One rivals Yeovil.

An announcement on the Glovers' official website states that 28-year-old Schofield will sign for manager Russell Slade's side on July 1st.

Schofield requested a move away from the Terriers in February, and played his final match for the Yorkshire club against Luton Town last weekend.

Yeovil have also announced the release of seven players from their books as Slade begins to rebuild the squad now that their League One status is secure for another season.

The players to be released are Mark Lynch, Anthony Barry, Darryl Knights, Stephen Maher, Wilfried Domoraud, Ishmael Welsh and Jerahl Hughes.
