Forest boss spoilt for choice

Sat 07 Jun, 02:15 PM

Nottingham Forest boss Colin Calderwood has admitted he faces a welcome selection dilemma following the signing of striker Robert Earnshaw.Calderwood has an array of attacking options at his disposal ahead of the new season as Earnshaw, Nathan Tyson and Junior Agogo all jostle for starting spots.

Tyson and Agogo scored 25 goals between them last term to help Forest clinch promotion from League One, while Earnshaw is desperate to revive his career after a low-key spell with Derby.

"I think we've got to find the right combination," said Calderwood.

"It'll be interesting to see the link-up with all the forward players. I think the important thing is the service we get to them now that we've lost Kris [Commons], who was a major provider of goals, and that's all for pre-season.

"We'll try one or two combinations in pre-season and get the best formation and formula for ourselves."
