Milan Mandaric will begin interviews to find Leicester's next manager on Monday with a view to making an appointment the following weekend.Trigger-happy chairman Mandaric, searching for his sixth manager since his £25million-plus takeover at the Walkers Stadium in February 2007, is waiting to hear whether he will be granted permission to speak to Paul Ince after making an official approach to MK Dons this week.

The Foxes owner admits he has been slightly surprised by the quantity and quality of the applicants.

He told the club's official website: "There are a lot of people who are interested in this job. There are some good people, it is a good standard.

"Going down to League One you would think that people wouldn't be interested, but that is certainly not the case.

"We are going to select three to five people and go on with interviewing and proper due diligence and hopefully by the end of next week we can conclude it."
