La Liga - Barcelona to sign 'three or four'

Treble winners Barcelona are planning to sign three or four top players to strengthen the squad for next season, according to club president Joan Laporta.

"We anticipate signing three or four high-level names to occupy the positions that the technical staff think need reinforcing," Laporta said.

Laporta also said there had been a number of offers for striker Samuel Eto'o and club officials would be meeting the Cameroon international's agent this week to discuss whether he will stay or be sold. Barcelona have been linked in the media with a bid for Inter Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and reports said Eto'o may move to the Italian club as part of the deal.
