Oldham skipper Sean Gregan hopes to put last season's injury-ravaged campaign behind him - he played only 19 games during the season.A reccurring Achilles injury saw him hand over the captain's armband to Neal Ardley for a large part of last season's campaign.
Gregan, 34, is hoping he will be able to hold down a regular first-team berth as the club seek a long-awaited return to the Championship.
He told the club's official website: "Last year was a total write-off, but I've been training a lot over the summer and the aim now is to start as many games as I can.
"I'm feeling good at the moment and now I think everyone wants to get pre-season out of the way and get down to real stuff."
