Holland midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has rubbished speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham.
The Hamburg playmaker is a reported target for several clubs across Europe after an impressive season in the Bundesliga and at Euro 2008, but insists he is likely to remain at the HSV-Arena for the coming campaign.
Van der Vaart told Dutch weekly Sportweek: "The interest has been there for some time already, but they (Tottenham) are not the club I want to go to. Tottenham are not a club I want to swap Hamburg for.
"The chance that I will stay at HSV is really big. As long as no team comes by which makes me immediately excited, I see no reason to leave. And so far none of those clubs have called us."

don't need him anyway. he's over rated and dos santos is better. f**k me even malbranque is better. why waste money on midfielders when we need another striker and defenders. and buying gomez? a good shot stopper but @#$% at everything else...
he's certainly waiting for the big fish, such as Barca or sort of.. (after watching his fellow countrymen makes such big impact in la liga, he is eager to join the league, if not the club). come to Barca and u wont regret..
At least spurs have money you @#$%, we all know arsenal don't have a pot to piss in, loooooooooooooers.
van der vaart + rosicky + nasri + fabregas would be unstoppable
I have to agree with Van Der Vaart.
If I were him, I also would stay at HSV, rather than join Spurs.
Martin Jol not speak to him then?
whatever and i bet your a arse fan what did you win last year
Spurs are the most unrealistic club in the world .. if it were possible they'd sign every player on the planet .. and still be unsuccessful
