Porto president Pinto da Costa has denied having received any offers for winger Ricardo Quaresma.
Internazionale boss Jose Mourinho revealed last week he was keen to sign the Portugal international.
The highly-rated 24-year-old joined Porto shortly after Mourinho's departure for Chelsea in 2004, and has gone on to become one of the most sought-after players in Europe.
Inter are reported to have already begun negotiations with the Portuguese champions, but Da Costa insists no club has come in with a bid.
"At the moment we have no official offer for Quaresma," he told Portuguese newspaper Correio de Manha.
He added that the player was happy to remain at the club, saying: "Has he asked to leave? No, I've had no complaints from him."
Reports in Italy and Portugal suggest Inter are willing to pay 25million euros for the winger's services, and will also include fringe player Pele or forward Julio Cruz in the deal.
However, the representative of the Argentinian forward insists his client will not play any part in a part-exchange deal.
"Julio Cruz is not leaving Inter. He'll stay with the Nerazzurri 100%, I hope that's clear," Jorge Czysterpiller told Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
"Julio's intention is to stay at Inter and there is a meeting planned with the club to extend his contract, which is set to expire in 2009."
