Brighton boss Micky Adams needs his side to overturn their Crewe hoodoo if they are to get off to a winning start in League One on Saturday. The Seagulls head to Gresty Road having never won at the Alex before but Adams, in charge of the first game of his second spell with the club, is confident they can put the record straight.
"Brighton have got a particularly bad record at Crewe so it will be nice to go up there and put in a positive performance and try to get that first win," he said.
"It's the start of a new season, what's happened has happened and is in the past, and we're going up there with renewed optimism.
"The squad is ready, they're fit, they're organised and we'll try to win the game."
