Rochdale assistant manager Dave Flitcroft insists Grimsby will present his side with a stern challenge in this weekend's League Two opener.Dale are aiming to bounce back from the bitter disappointment of losing 3-2 to Stockport in last season's play-off final.
But Flitcroft says his men are ready to go ahead of the trip to Blundell Park.
"We have had Grimsby watched four times and done as much homework as we can," he said. "What you don't know on the first day in competition is how they are going to do.
"When the real money starts and the three-point factor comes in we are sure that they will be fired up as everyone always is on the first day."
