Leeds have agreed to let striker Tresor Kandol join Millwall on a six-month loan deal with a view to a permanent transfer to the New Den.The former Barnet marksman is expected to complete the formalities of the move on Thursday morning.
Kandol scored 11 goals in 36 appearances last season, but United boss Gary McAllister has spent the summer looking to add more firepower to his side.
The manager has drafted in strikers Enoch Showunmi and Luciano Becchio, along with attack minded duo Andy Robinson and Robert Snodgrass, in readiness for the new campaign.
Kandol joined United from Barnet in November 2006, initially on loan, and made the move permanent in January 2007. He scored the winner at Tranmere on the opening day of last season and also scored against Gillingham on the final afternoon.
Kandol missed the start of United's pre-season training due to a virus, but played in the games against Harrogate Town, Pegasus Juniors, and Newport.
