Peterborough's Russell Martin believes that club's display in the friendly defeat to Manchester United bodes well for the upcoming season. The defender scored an own goal in the 2-0 defeat but after seeing United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak make several fine saves believes Darren Ferguson's men will be in the goals.
He said: "The fans will have seen over pre-season that some of our attacking football has been frightening.
"The speed which we attack at with the front four or five is exciting to watch.
"It's been great to come into a side where the gaffer just wants to play football and get the ball wide and attack as that's a big part of my game.
"We created a lot of good chances against a strong Manchester United side so that bodes well for life in League One."
