Swansea manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that the club have ended their interest in trialist goalkeeper Derek Soutar. The former Dundee, Aberdeen, Alloa and Brechin stopper has been on trial with the Swans in recent weeks and featured during the club's pre-season schedule
But Soutar will not be offered a deal at the Liberty Stadium and Martinez insists he will not be rushed into signing cover for his only recognised goalkeeper Dorus de Vries.
"We're going to take our time and if there's a reason we need that extra cover and extra body we'll always make it happen," said Martinez.
