Manager Carlo Ancelotti claims Chelsea have finished their business in the summer transfer window.
"We stay with these players," the Italian said ahead of Sunday's community shield clash at Wembley between the FA Cup holders and Premier League champions Manchester United.
"I don't want to take other players because I think that the squad is very competitive at Chelsea. We don't need other players," he added.
Chelsea have added striker Daniel Sturridge, defender Yuri Zhirkov and goalkeeper Ross Turnbull to their ranks in the close season and had a bid for AC Milan's Andrea Pirlo rejected with the midfielder now staying in Italy.
Equally important has been tying striker Didier Drogba and midfielder Florent Malouda to new contracts, while Chelsea and England captain John Terry is staying at Stamford Bridge after an approach from Manchester City was rejected.
Ancelotti also said there had been no bids for Portugal's Brazilian-born playmaker Deco or defender Ricardo Carvalho despite Inter Milan's former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho saying the London club was making it difficult to sign the pair.
"We never thought to sell Carvalho and Deco. They are important players for Chelsea. Carvalho is a very intelligent defender and Deco has great quality and the team needs this," Ancelotti said.
"Now we don't have the idea to sell any players. If a player is not happy to stay with us then they have to tell us but no player has asked to leave."
The former Milan manager warms up for his Premier League bow at home to Hull City on August 15 with a Wembley test against a United side starting life without talisman Cristiano Ronaldo following his exit to Real Madrid.
Asked if the Portugal winger's absence would work to Chelsea's advantage, Ancelotti said: "More relaxed without Ronaldo? No, not more relaxed".
"I think if we play against Manchester (United), Manchester was not only Ronaldo. Manchester are a great team with very good players without Ronaldo.
"(It's a) very difficult match but we arrive at this match very excited, very happy to be in a beautiful stadium..."
"It is not a friendly game, it is a very important game for us. We play against a great team... we have respect for this team but we want to win."
Ancelotti's hopes of victory and a psychological boost for the league title battle ahead is helped by having just one injury concern over Zhirkov, who has a knee problem.
United's injury list includes goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar plus defenders Nemanja Vidic, Gary Neville and Wes Brown.

well to me,chelsea has don d right thing by not let out players,we will make best this season
Queresma was on loan and has gone back to inter (number 10)
YOU GUYS ARE TALKING ABOUT OFFLOADING SOME PLAYERS, BUT NOT ALL OF THEM CAN BE SOLD WITHOUT RELACEMENT, AND ITS BETTER NOT TO BUY AT ALL THAN BUYING SOME OVERATED PLAYERS WITH CRAZY FEES....
Who is going to cover for Drogba, Essien, Mikel and Kalou when they all leave for 6 weeks in Jan. and Feb. to play in the African Nations cup??
This 6 week period will be crucial to winning the league, our hopes may rely on Deco and Ballack being fit and no other injuries in the squad.
Chelsea needs to offload the tired legs of belleti, fererra, quaresma, pizarro
who is gael kakuta? a chelsea player? and why not let go of deco, he has overspent his prime and just struggling to hang on. let go of him particularly that there is someone interested in him who will probably pay a premium over his real worth.
sell deco to inter please! and let's get younger players to strenghten our squad
wher is the marquee signing ??? chelsea = lie.......i hope we sell pizrro and shevchenko and we buy a player
we have got the same team otehr than zhirkov and sturridge that hiddink used, im pretty sure its an advantage in the way no players have got 2 addapt 2 any important roles, so same team all use 2 eachotehr! were guna b flying the blue flag high this season!!
I'm not a Chelsea fan but I think they stand a real chance of winning the league this year, their squad is really good and have much deph too, also stand a good chance of winning the Champions League thisyear - Ipswich town fan
i'm chelsea fan,i'm agree that we don need to buy anymore player this summer, because we have a big squad...XD
...WELL, I THINK CHELSEA HAVE A TEAM THAT CAN CHALLENGE FOR ALL HONOURS THIS SEASON SINCE WE DIDNT LOOSE ANY OF OUR BIG NAMES LIKE OUR RIVALS...I WAS THINKING WE COULD GET A STRIKER, A FAST, YOUNG AND SKILLFUL ONE WHO CAN UNLOCK THE DEFENCE OF THOSE TEAM THAT PLAY ELEVEN DEFENDERS IN A MATCH.... NOT WITHSTANDING WE STILL HAVE THE DROG, ANELKA AND THE YOUTHFUL STURIDGE...WE HAVE THE MOST COMPLETE TEAM IN THE PREMIERSHIP AT THE MOMENT.
very interesting... i was under the impression that JT was staying because we were going to spend heavily
What? they said they would be signing a big name before the window shuts! I really reaaly wanted Aguero. I know the squa is good enough but I was just hoping
is it a case of no more signings or a case of no one wants to come to us
Thank you. Afterall, we didnt lose any player like some overrated teams
