Ched Evans and Justin Haber were the only two of Sheffield United's internationals in action for their respective countries over the weekend.

Striker Evans was a second-half substitute in Wales Under-21s' 2-1 friendly win over Italy, while goalkeeper Haber also played for 45 minutes in Malta's 2-0 defeat against Cape Verde.

Evans, 20, and Blades winger David Cotterill are both included in John Toshack's senior Wales squad for Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against Russia at the Millennium Stadium.

Jamie Ward was an unused substitute in Northern Ireland's 1-1 World Cup qualifying draw in Poland.
