La Liga - Vermaelen: Cesc admitted Barca desire
Eurosport - Tue, 07 Sep 13:20:00 2010
Thomas Vermaelen has admitted that Cesc Fabregas told his Arsenal team-mates he wanted to join Barcelona in the summer.
Spain midfielder Fabregas, who is Gunners captain, was linked with the Liga champions in what became a public tug of war until Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger put his foot down.
Fabregas, who joined Arsenal as a teenager from Barca’s youth team, agreed to stay but is widely expected to leave for the Camp Nou next season.
"Cesc carries Barcelona in the heart, in his DNA, therefore it is impossible for him to forget about them," Vermaelen told Talksport.
"He was determined to go to Barca last summer, he more or less confessed it in the dressing room. But that is past history.
"Now he is 100 per cent ready to put his all in to a great season with Arsenal."

i have this feelings that he only stayed Arsenal for somthing.....i don`t know what..
we should just let this haertless boy-man leave.from what i have seen so far...cesc is not the same from last season......thats it.im Alex

Then you can quip him for ever.lolhihihihahaha!!!!!!!
Is the right tym 4 Cesc 2 achieve thins rather than staying with the team dat doesn't produce gud results. Barca is the best team 4 cesc dan Asernal.
Whot we shuld have done is just let him go! In returne Barca culd pay £20.000.000,00 each year for nxt 5 years. Just let him leeve hes heart is not in Arsenal any more, like some people sad it b fore there are yungsters that r wating for there chances in wings and he is stoping them! i meen we have a good young English goly and he wont develop without games get rid of all these young forgen pleyars and train youn lockal boys that love ARSENAL like Mr T. H. Loved Arsenal.
Julian B. no club's account is in green. like barca. everyone thought they go green every season. but the truth is revealed that they dont earn much. u never know what happens in arsenal unless u work in the account department. u have to view this from my point of view. no conclusion can be made here that arsenal is not in debt. there MIGHT be cover up. i know my club is in red. but with some high earning players' departure, we can cut cost on the salary. under sandro rosell, barca's account is in safe hands. besides, as a fan, do u want ur club to win trophies or listen to the board saying we are not in debt bla bla...i would go for the former...barca is a well built model, IF they continue with what they are doing, no problem, they can cut the debt. and again, i am emphasizing here that i NEVER say ur club is lying or what. but u never know the truth unless u work in the account department of the club. Hence, i use the word MIGHT.
His body language on the field is only too apparent - no desire or commitment, fundamental passes going astray. Let him go if he thinks he can replace Xavi or Iniesta (can't start at international level anyway). Let's move on with the real young talent in Ramsey and Wilshere. Gunners for Life.
eevernc But Arsenal aren't the team here who are about £200million in debt. Would Barcalona have won trophies without going that far in debt?
I think next season if we get 35 mill for him we will be happy. I agree this season i wouldnt have been happy if he left for under 45, but i think we have seen the big guns and the big spending and i think we will see player transferes come down a long way. Well not a long way but actually getting a player who is worth 30 mill for 30 mill rather than paying 60 or 80 mill. Mind you no player is worth 30 mill...no one is worth 30 mill ahahaha ok whatever.
Fabregus can want to go to Barca, we dont mind, Just tell Barca to pay the right price for him. If they think because the player wants then they will pay peanuts, they are doomed!!!! Go on Wenger, NO money no Fabregus...He has a contract if they want, let them wait until 2013!!!! Lol
I think the player that Wenger should let him go is Van persie and not Cesc. This lad is fully of injuries every season. He should sell him to spain or in Italy but not in England.
Nasri will be ready to take over running the midfield next season. Then Cesc can go if he wants
cesc joined arsenal when the club was nice and if he want to leave it leet him go awayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy fr the club, ashily
cesc is not arsenal, remeber few years ago arsenal players like EDU, HENRY and others they left the team but arsenal remained there as a club , so if he thinks that he has grown up , he doesn't need to play for arsenal , let him go were he loves, ARSENAL will remain there as a club.
Julian B...we buy players and we sell...money flow in and out, almost the same...we dont spend much like english clubs...we only improve on positions we need cover...well....at least we win trophies...*roll eyes*
now say that we're tapping up u a$$-Anal...i've had enough...now,ur players talk,u cant say anything...but once we talk,u call that tapping up...sue us for it,catch us for it...totally dumb.
