Int Football - Davies nets Welsh gong

Fulham midfielder Simon Davies has been named Wales Footballer of the Year at the FA of Wales's awards dinner at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.
The Haverfordwest-born 28-year-old won his 50th cap for his country in 2008, and also stepped in as captain on several occasions in the absence of 2007 winner Craig Bellamy.
The former Peterborough, Tottenham and Everton winger also helped club side Fulham secure their Premier League status on the final day of last season.
The Young Player of the Year award went to 19-year-old Tottenham full-back Chris Gunter, who has become a starter since he joined from Cardiff in the summer.
The Club Player of the Year award went to Cardiff's Joe Ledley for his role in the Championship club's run to the FA Cup final, where they were beaten by top-flight Portsmouth.
