Damien Duff has been handed a recall into the Republic of Ireland's 21-man squad for their World Cup qualifier against Cyprus.
Coach Giovanni Trapattoni recalled the fit-again Newcastle forward for the match at Croke Park after he missed last month's qualifiers against Georgia and Montenegro.
Duff scored the equalise in Newcastle's 2-2 Premier League draw at Everton.
However, Trapattoni must make do without Steve Finnan, Steven Reid and Stephen Kelly, who are all ruled out with knocks.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Noel Hunt has been withdrawn from the Republic of Ireland squad for the 'Senior International' friendly match against Nottingham Forest at Dalymount Park.
The Reading striker suffered concussion during his club's game against Burnley which forced him to be substituted.
