A last-minute strike from Danny Haynes snatched a 1-1 draw for Bristol City at Nottingham Forest, who had gone ahead five minutes earlier through Wes Morgan. A Darren Ambrose goal was enough to see Crystal Palace past Middlesbrough, while Heidar Helguson and Tom Cleverley were on the scoresheet in Watford's 2-0 win over Preston.

Cameron & Bob: Well said lads :-)
Well that's it Bob; i also remember before Villa knocked them out the Carling Cup as well - it was a good cup to win then, day after tho it was a tuppence ha'penny worthless pot.
The fact that we are, and always have been, a better supported club than them has ALWAYS grated them; i honestly think it's one of the main reasons they are so bitter. Despite everything this club has been hauled through, we remain loyal to the club in our thousands and it pi$$es them off big time; because they know if the boot was on the other foot, they'd be pulling in gates of 11 and 12k . . . . . FACT!
I totally agree Cameron. I seem to remember a lot of mackems and others spouting rubbish in June/July about Toon fans leaving in droves and how we would be playing in an empty stadium. Suddenly though all mackems seem to think attendances aren't important and we are mugs for turning out week after week. Funny that isn't it?
We can only beat what's put in front of us; a highly professional job.
Am proud of the fans yet again, all 43+k of us!
ashley, you sicken me.
