They hope their playmaker will be able to fully recover from an ankle injury before they host Liverpool in the Champions League.

Olympique Lyon coach Alain Perrin slammed the French League for refusing to reschedule Saturday's match at Caen in order to let them focus on the Champions League Group E decider at Glasgow Rangers.

"We'll have to put up with it. The Rangers match has been postponed but in France you can't expect things to be easy even for a Champions League contender," he said.
