Burley pleased by home draw

Tue 08 Jan, 01:30 PM

George Burley was delighted to be drawn at home again after Southampton were paired with either Norwich or Bury in the FA Cup fourth round.Burley's men will line up against League Two strugglers Bury or their Championship rivals City, who they also face in the league three days later.

"I said after our win over Leicester that we wanted a home draw and we have got our wish," Burley told the club's official website.

"We have to wait to see who we actually play but we will be at home to a team either in the same league or below, so the chance is there to get through to the last 16.

"It means we could be playing Norwich twice in a couple of days and it's amazing how often that seems to happen - but it is a decent draw."

Bury host Norwich in their third-round replay at Gigg Lane on Tuesday January 15.
