Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope has got his wish after completing the permanent signing of Danny Coles from Hull for an undisclosed fee.The defender, who began his career at Bristol City, joined the Pirates on loan at the start of November.
Trollope revealed last week that he intended to make the deal permanent and the 26-year-old, who was on loan at League One rivals Hartlepool earlier this season, has signed a contract that will keep him at the Memorial Stadium until the summer of 2010.
Coles scored his first goal for the club in Sunday's 2-2 FA Cup third-round draw at Fulham.
