Wrexham manager Brian Little has offered trials to three out-of-contract players as he looks to bring in players to bolster his squad.Little has brought in left-back Stephen Cooke, 24, as well as midfielders Danny Sonner, 35, and Tommy Taylor, 22, in a bid to boost the Welsh club's chances of Football League survival.

The Dragons boss has used his contacts to bring the trailists to Colliers Park, having worked with Cooke at Aston Villa while new coach Martin Foyle managed Sonner at Port Vale.

"We have brought in three lads who are out of contract and looking to work," said Little.

"On top of looking for other players who are contracted, it's important for us to bring people in and out of the dressing room so people are on their toes.

"We want to bring some players in. We've made a little headway in one or two areas, but I'm not sure everything is clear yet, but I'd like to think we'll have some news very shortly."
