Darlington manager Dave Penney has strengthened his options temporarily by signing Notts County defender Paul Mayo on a month-long loan.The 26-year-old joined the Magpies at the start of the season and has made 17 appearances following spells with Lincoln and Watford.

However, Mayo has not featured in Ian McParland's starting line-up since the beginning of December and will now remain at the Darlington Arena until February 9 - returning just before the League Two clash between the two sides on Tuesday, February 12.
