Brentford manager Andy Scott has targeted a striker as his priority for this month's transfer window as he looks to improve his squad.Nineteen-year-old Ross Montague has impressed since being given his chance by Scott after loan spells at Sutton United and Welling, but with Lee Thorpe out injured the Bees are short of numbers.
Scott said: "I think we certainly need a front man.
"Thorpey is injured for us at the moment while Monty has come in and played fantastically well for a young kid who has been on loan at Conference South level.
"But I need to make sure that I don't burn him out and use him to the best of his ability.
"He's doing a good job but we need cover up front."
