Plymouth Argyle boss Paul Sturrock has confirmed he has made "more than a half dozen" bids for players as the Pilgrims chase promotion. After progressing to the FA Cup fourth round and setting up a tie at Premier League side Portsmouth later this month, Sturrock said: "I have made more than half a dozen bids for players and we are just waiting back from all sorts of clubs."
The Scot confirmed that all the bids have been made to British clubs.
He added: "I have started in Britain and my head scout Andy King is now perusing the European scene."
Sturrock is being strongly linked with a move for Aberdeen right back Michael Hart, reportedly making a £175,000 bid for the 27 year old former Livingston defender.
