Inverness player-manager Craig Brewster has insisted he is not overly concerned about his side's lack of goals since the turn of the year.In their four matches so far in 2008 Inverness have drawn a blank on three occasions, having failed to find the net against Aberdeen, Hibs and Rangers.
Gretna, who remain rooted to the foot of the Scottish Premier League, are the only team that Caley Thistle have managed to score against.
Four of the Highland club's last six goals have come from Marius Niculae, and the onus is on the Romanian international to score when Inverness visit St Mirren this weekend.
Brewster is not concerned who gets the goals, as long as Inverness start to convert the opportunities they have missed.
He said: "At least we are creating chances and that's still a positive despite us not scoring many goals.
"As far as I'm concerned it doesn't matter who scores, as long as the team are playing well and we are creating chances."
Brewster is also aware one man Inverness will have to stop is Craig Dargo, who spent two productive years in the Highland capital before moving to St Mirren.
Brewster signed Dargo on a free transfer from Kilmarnock in June 2005, during the 41-year-old's first spell in charge at the Caledonian Stadium.
And the pair often featured alongside each other in attack, although their partnership was broken up rather quickly when Brewster took the manager's job at Dundee United halfway through the season.
Despite no longer playing alongside Brewster, Dargo has regularly found the net for Inverness, and scored 31 goals in 67 appearances before he left for St Mirren.
The striker endured a tough first six months in Paisley as the result of a persistent knee injury, but has since started St Mirren's last three games.
Fit-again Dargo is set to face some of his old team-mates on Saturday and Brewster admitted the contest between the 29-year-old and Caley Thistle's defenders is going to be "a good battle".
Dargo failed to score in St Mirren's goalless Scottish Cup game against Dundee United last weekend.
However, Brewster heard good reports about the Buddies' performance from his assistant Malky Thomson.
He said: "By all accounts St Mirren were by far the better team and should have went through, but at the end of the day they didn't score any goals and are now facing a replay."
