West Brom midfielder Robert Koren should be fit for the Championship match against Barnsley but Ishmael Miller will miss the trip to Oakwell.Koren was a doubt earlier in the week after suffering a bruised calf during the home win over Burnley.
Baggies boss Tony Mowbray said: "He has joined in with the warm-ups and he is confident he will train before the game.
"He has only got a bruised calf. It was a kick rather than a strain and I am assuming there is going to be no problem with him."
Miller has resumed training after almost four weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring problem but this game will come too soon for the 10-goal striker.
"He has trained and has looked good. His fitness levels were all right and he looked like he had never been away," said Mowbray.
