Walsall boss Richard Money has strengthened his ranks with the signing of Senegalese international Alassane N'Dour until the end of the season. The versatile 26-year-old had been a free agent since he was released from his contract by French side AC Troyes last season.
It is possible N'Dour could feature in the Saddlers clash with Yeovil on Saturday, subject to international clearance.
"'Allou' is a player with a good pedigree and someone we have been tracking for a while," Walsall boss Richard Money told the club's official website.
"He is a tall, athletic player with a good left foot who can play in both midfield and at left-back. As an international footballer, he adds to the quality of our squad."
N'Dour, who played for Senegal in their memorable 2002 World Cup campaign, had a brief spell on loan at West Brom four seasons ago, and has spent much of his career with St Etienne.
