Romania star Cozma stabbed to death

Romanian international handball player Marian Cozma has been stabbed to death while two other players were seriously injured in an attack at a Hungarian nightclub.

Hungarian news agency MTI reported that the lives of injured players Zarko Sesum, 22, of Serbia and 19-year-old Croatian goalkeeper Ivan Pesic are not in danger.

Centre Cozma, 26, joined Hungarian club MKB Veszprem in 2006. He was stabbed in the heart in an apparently unprovoked attack.

Pesic was stabbed in the back and had to undergo emergency surgery to remove a damaged kidney while Sesum was kicked unconscious and taken to hospital with a suspected skull fracture.

A minute's silence will be held before Hungarian league matches played on Sunday.

  2. Romanian handball player Marian Cozma was killed in­ Hungary. His killers are Gypsies. Gypsies protected by­ the European Parliament, year after year. It's not­ strange that the European Parliament accused(few years­ ago) the Romanians are as racist?Why? Because romanians­ refused to let the Gypsies to kill peoples? The result­ is that Gypsies don't have any fear of law and­ authority. Thank you EU !

    mind you,it must­ be based on the hungarian impotent politicians and­ police who didn't state that the killers were­ gipsies just because it wouldn't be politically­ correct...that's why people in Serbia don't­ know that the killers are NOT hungarians but also­ gipsies...unless they read the comments left by­ hungarians either here or on youtube..so i do­ appreciate that romanian press clearly stated this­ fact.

    I pray to GOD that the­ news about Sesum is true. I hope that in every country­ there is a Sesum's father, who can make justice for­ all the people who had something to lose because of the­ gypsies. I hope they burn in hell. Gipsies have been a plague for all­ societies they’ve lived in ever since and no matter how­ much you would like to be fair and non-extremist we­ should admit that we all want them to disappear in a­ way or another. Yes, they should be first sterilized­ like one said here; if they keep keeling, robbing,­ behaving as they always did just exterminate them!­ Unfortunately we don’t have in Romania people like­ Zarko Sesum but hope he and his commando will bring­ revenge to Marian’s death. HE is a lost first for­ himself, his youth, his family and only second for­ European handball! Death to the gipsy gang that­ cowardly killed Marian and hurt the other two­ guys.

  17. These are not people, who did it to Cozma, these are­ animals! The punishment they will give doesn't­ matter. If they get free, they will be full of­ vengeance, because of it. The only solution I see is to­ sterylise such people(?), that they become less MEN,­ and there won't be 20 children, who carries on his­ unhuman anger!
    As long as this government(hated of the­ most) reigns in Hungary, there will be other cases like­ that, because they are soft-balled, that's the­ true, they can't, and don't want to guard their­ people. SHAME ON THEM!
