Mark Allen was the only unbeaten player after the opening round of matches in snooker's Championship League Group Six.

The outspoken Northern Irish player won all three of his matches at Crondon Park for the loss of just a single frame, beating Mark King 3-1, Peter Ebdon 3-0 and Jamie Cope 3-0.

Despite his defeat by Allen, Ebdon also has a superb chance of making the Group Six semi-finals after winning his other three matches on Wednesday, beating Jamie Cope 3-2, Mark King 3-1 and Dominic Dale 3-2.
