MADRID (Reuters) - Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero has been given a two-match ban by UEFA after being sent off for spitting in the direction of an opponent during last week's 1-0 UEFA Cup first leg defeat at Bolton Wanderers.
The 19-year-old Argentine will miss Thursday's return leg at the Calderon as well as one further match either in this season's UEFA Cup or a future European competition.
UEFA said on its Web site (www.uefa.com) that Atletico have three days to appeal against the decision.
