BELGRADE (Reuters) - Serbia striker Mateja Kezman was happy Fenerbahce drew his former club Chelsea in the Champions League quarter-finals.
"I am glad we are up against Chelsea, they were second on my wish list before the draw (on Friday)," Kezman told Belgrade's B92 Web site (www.b92.net).
"I would have preferred German side Schalke because they might be somewhat easier opposition but I'll be delighted to play at Stamford Bridge again."
Kezman was a disappointment in his only season at Chelsea in 2004-05. He moved on to Atletico Madrid before joining Fenerbahce in 2006.
The 28-year-old is confident Turkish champions Fenerbahce, who will be playing in the last eight of Europe's elite club competition for the first time, can offer Chelsea a stern test.
"We can stand our ground against Chelsea because they are not as good as they were during Jose Mourinho's spell in charge," said Kezman.
Mourinho left in September and was succeeded as coach by Israeli Avram Grant.
"Reaching the last eight was a dream come true for us and we have nothing to lose because all the pressure is on them," added Kezman.
"We are just going to enjoy ourselves and you never know what might happen if they have a bad day because we have a solid team with plenty of talented players."
