Hatters hit back to beat Bantams

Stockport County came from behind to secure a well-deserved 2-1 victory over Bradford City at Edgeley Park on Saturday afternoon.County dominated the first half with Liam Dickinson and Anthony Pilkington both going close to breaking the deadlock.

Bradford took the lead soon after the restart when Joe Colbeck was felled by goalkeeper John Ruddy and Peter Thorne coolly slotted home from the spot.

The hosts levelled after 68 minutes when Shaleum Logan crossed for Pilkington to tuck home from 15 yards.

The Hatters then went on to seal victory 10 minutes later when Michael Rose curled home a brilliant free-kick from 20 yards.
