Preston have signed Hungary international striker Tamas Priskin on an initial one-month loan deal from Championship rivals Watford. The 21-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular first-team place at Vicarage Road since his arrival in August 2006.
"I am very pleased to come here and I am very happy to play at Preston," Priskin told the club's official website.
"I think this loan is very good for me and I hope it is going to be really good for Preston.
"I hope I can help the team move away from the relegation zone because this team is good enough to be far away from that part of the table and I hope I will help do that."
North End boss Alan Irvine, who on Friday allowed striker Brett Ormerod to join Nottingham Forest on loan, added: "He's a big lad. He's strong, but not a physical type of player.
"He's a player who is good technically and is a powerful runner."
Priskin goes straight into Preston's squad for their Championship clash at Charlton on Saturday.
