On-loan Stoke goalkeeper Carlo Nash believes that he can help the Potters secure a place in the Premier League next season. The 34-year-old signed on loan from Wigan in midweek and has previous experience of playing in the Premier League with Middlesbrough and Manchester City.
The experienced shot-stopper will be competing for the number one jersey with Steve Simonsen who has started every game for the Potters this season.
Nash told the club's official website: "I've been in the play-offs three times in this division and been promoted twice, so it's certainly a factor I am bringing to the squad.
"It is a good team spirit here which is good to see.
"If we stick together and stay focused then there is no reason why we can't get automatic promotion."
