Sunday's top-of-the-table Dutch Eredivisie encounter between PSV Eindhoven and Ajax has become the second game to be called off in Holland. The match has been postponed due to industrial action by police.

AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord was the first game to go earlier on Saturday morning under the orders of the mayor of Alkmaar, Piet Bruinooge, with Dutch police fighting for better pay and conditions.

Ajax are in court at 1400 CET in a bid to get the PSV game given the go-ahead.

The mayor of Eindhoven, Guus Braks, said in a short press statement on Saturday: "Because of the actions of the police, I cannot guarantee the safety surrounding this match.

"Only if Ajax win their court case later today is it possible that the match can be played."

VVV Venlo v FC Twente and Sparta Rotterdam v Roda JC are also in danger.
